Change the World

We are the Church. We are invited into God's master plan to transform all the places of brokenness into places of healing and hope. Join us in this series to hear what it might be like if we, the Church, were willing to really engage in God's plan to Change the World.

AN INVITATION TO ENGAGE THE SEASON OF LENT: Christians have always observed the days of Jesus' death and resurrection from the earliest days of the church. We spend 40 days from Ash Wednesday to Easter (not including Sundays) committing ourselves to prayer, and fasting. The hope is to be reminded of the unlimited mercy and forgiveness offered us in Jesus Christ and the need we all have to renew our faith. Ash Wednesday is a service by which we place the sign of the cross on our foreheads with ashes to acknowledge our own mortality, and to remember the hope of new life found in Jesus.
